What I intend this material for is to complete an introduction to a blog which I started at least one year ago and then put down after completing only a very small portion.
My failure to complete what I had started arose primarily 
because of my wife’s death last July. She had been my beloved partner and anchor to windward for almost 50 years; her sudden departure without the slightest warning almost destroyed me.
But with the wonderful support of my three boys, sister-in-law, and extended family and friends, I have at least become semi-human again.
Whether you will think it has provided any wisdom or insight into our nation’s national or international problems or crises remains to be seen.
